The Diary of Anne Frank is the story of a 13- year-old Jewish girl and her family who are forced into hiding by the Nazis during World War II. Its first version, which appeared in 1947, was edited by Anne's father, Otto Frank. The book has recieved widespread critical and popular attention worldwide ever since.
